So, I know over the last few weeks, a lot of us out here in the U.S have had some really bad weather. Some really bad storms, I know a lot of friends and family out there in texas have had to deal with some really inclement weather and some horrible power outages. That’s why I want to talk about this today.
The Ecoflow River Pro or any big battery bank. When you think about investing in something that can help you out in times of need, when you lose power, this thing is a beast. Let’s talk about it right now. Let’s go full disclosure, the folks over there at Eco like this, you got to available about why do I need an extreme battery power bank for my car, for my house.
And I think a lot of us you know want to be prepared when you know the power goes out, or if we have any situations where we needed to leave home, or you know, we’re camping, or other things where we need to have a big battery bank to last us pretty much, you know hours upon hours on the day now.
River 600 Pro Quick Look
The ECOFLOW RIVER PRO Review – This Ecoflow River Pro has 720 watt-hours that you can use at one time. And I love all the connections that this thing has on its charger. We have a USB type-c that allows up to 100 watts of charging, you have USB-a, two of them which will give you at least 12 amps of power in charging, you have the fast charge that allows you to get up to 24 amps of charge.
And then, you have on the front here as well, you have a DC input to be able to do things like your car would do and a light. You can see that light, in case you’re out there in the darkness, or you’re out there camping. It even has an SOS feature where if you press that, and you need to alert somebody. It has those functions.
The other great thing about the Ecoflow river pro is that it has 3 AC inputs. You can plug up to 3 different ac devices whether it’s a hairdryer, or an electric frying pan, or any of the things that you might need out there on the go that you’re going to need AC power on. You can really plug this up, and get going.
On this other side here, it comes with our extreme charge which allows you to plug a cable in, plug it directly into your wall charge this device, and charge other devices plugged up into this all at once. It’s kind of clutch when you need to be able to charge this thing and keep it ready to go just in case there is a power outage at your house.
Maybe, you want to plug up your entire computer setup into this, and then just plug this into the wall just in case but it works that way.
There are a couple of drawbacks from that, and then the other two things over here are for overload protection. Just to make sure, you don’t overload this device. There’s an overload protection button, and then lastly right here, is the ability to plug-in solar panels, to be able to charge this and use it out there in the open, in the sun.
And then, on both sides, you’ll see there are vents because this thing does blow out air to prevent it from overheating.
Let me show you how loud that gets when it does. Once you plug this into the outlet. it’ll immediately start charging. and the fan will kick in. So, if I was trying to work, and do something, and keep this thing charged, it would definitely make too much noise for me to do something like this.
Talking to y’all the good thing about charging this device is, it can charge up to 80 percent in one hour. So, if you’re using this a lot, and you need to charge it up, it’s not going to take you forever to charge this thing all the way up. Because it has a quick charge to be able to get this thing all the way back up.
That’s probably why that fan blows as it does because it gets your thing charged fast as hell. I look at things like this as having a portable generator, a portable backup solution for when you lose power, and you need to power up a lot of different things.
It can power up a mini-fridge, it can power up a mini freezer, it can power up a lot of things that we’re thinking about. If we lose power, it can kind of give us that sense of relief, making sure that some of our valuables, some of the things that we need to do get done when we have no power in the house. If we’re really out, and about for long periods of time, like camping, or things like that.
In addition, Ecoflow does sell optional accessories, such as the solar panels, and actually ways for you to grow this battery bank, be able to give you double the capacity. If that’s something that you need on their website, and things like that, so when you’re charging devices, the only time you’ll hear the fan kick in is when you hit the button over here to start up the AC.

To be able to use these AC outlets, you can see as soon as you hit that the fan comes directly on. To make sure that you’re not overheating the device as long as you hit the button it turns off. And if I’m charging something like this, like my iPad pro, I like that when I plug in any device, it’s going to tell me how many watts I’m pulling power, in the middle here.
It’ll tell me the percentage of how much battery is left, and it’ll give me an estimate of how many hours I have left. Right now, I have 99 hours left on this battery.
