Walrus G4 Kits Off-Grid And Backup
Walrus G4 Kits – The Walrus G4 from BatteryEVO is by far one of the most impressive and most cost-effective solar power stations on the market, period. It has the largest single inverter of any system, totaling 15 kW (15,000W) of continuous output power. It normally takes 2 to 5 other power stations linked together to match that output capacity, and it’s in a single inverter! There is no need to expand to a second unit.
Walrus G4 Kits Included:
- 1x Walrus G4
- 10x 400w Bifacial Solar Panels
- 3x 100ft Solar Cable Sets
- 1x 3 to 1 High Amp Solar Combiner Set
- 1x Anderson/MC4 Solar Cable Adapter
- 2x N14-50P/SS2-50R 10ft Cable
- 2x Cable Carry Cases
What’s more, the internal battery is also the largest battery of any power station within a single unit. A whopping 23 kWh (23,000Wh) of lithium-ion cells power the Walrus G4 for extreme lengths of time. It makes it very easy to get an affordable system that will run for a long time.
And the extra cherry on top, the solar input. An incredible 8 kW (8,000W) of solar input in order to recharge the battery in less than 4 hours! The solar charge parameter is from 90-230V and up to 80A. No other power station on the market will let in up to 8 kW of solar at once as a single unit. Again, it’s typically required to join multiple units together to get this much power input. That’s capable of making around 40 to 50 kWh of power on a sunny day.

If you choose to add on a Walrus G4 expansion battery, you will double the total battery capacity, reaching 46 kWh of battery storage. The 8 kW of solar panels are still capable of recharging that in a single sunny day. The average American household uses 30 to 40 kWh per day (personal usage will vary). It’s easy to store more than a day’s worth of energy with one Walrus G4 system.
Using EV-grade batteries that will last a long time, the Walrus G4 makes it extremely easy and affordable to have incredible backup power or go off-grid.
The Walrus G4 Kit is specifically designed around running the most basic and essential items in the house. This includes things such as a fridge, freezer, lights, fan, wifi, TV, chargers, and kitchen appliances. Plus, with this much solar, it’s also possible to run appliances such as a well pump, A/C unit, electric dryer, electric range, electric water heater (not all at once), and more. It’s capable of sustaining an average of 750 kWh per month. If your monthly bill is around this number, then it’s technically possible to go off-grid with this kit.
By adding either the upper solar panel stands or the upper + low solar panel stands, you give yourself the easiest option on the market to set up and take down solar panels quickly. No permits required!
